Thanksgiving Pants

Remember that episode of Friends when Joey wears Phoebe's maternity pants so he can eat more on Thanksgiving?

Unfortunately, aside from actually being pregnant, it's pretty hard to get away with wearing maternity pants to make room for just a little more pumpkin pie. Quite a few of our Style Lush writing staff can wear them with pride and have that extra helping of sweet potatoes. But what about the rest of us? 

Yoga pants are comfy and stretchy, but just a bit too casual for most Thanksgiving dinners.

Jeggings? Not unless you are a size zero or want to look as lumpy as your mother-in-law's mashed potatoes.

Luckily, I have a solution. 

The answer, my friends, is the Old Navy Boot-Cut Cord.  They are soft, fit like a jean, yet have a bit of a stretch to them.  I absolutely love that they come in eight colors and the fit is amazing.  Plus sized girls, you won't be left out, did I mention they go to size 20?

In search of the perfect plus-size fall jacket

I look for several things when shopping plus-size clothes, the first of which is not to buy anything with a print that makes me look like a couch. Or feel dowdy. Or that will get me a photo spread on People of Walmart. You laugh, but you might be surprised at the options for fat girls out there. Thankfully, there ARE plus-size retailers who are hearing the cry for stylish, cute clothes.

My current search is for a great fall jacket.
