I've always had strong opinions about my hair. When I was a little kid, I was adamant that no curls could touch my forehead. I had (and have) this weird old man hairline that, even at 3 years old, looked like it was receding. It was not. I also have really curly hair. Shirley Temple ringlets. As an adolescent, I was obsessed with my hair product, L'Oreal Anti-Frizz Serum, and bought it in bulk. It was discontinued when I was in college and, believe me, it was a dark day in my life.
This past December my colorist convinced me to blow dry it straight. Believe it or not, in 30 years I had only done it twice and it looked awful. But when he did it, it looked FABULOUS and I haven't worn my hair curly since.
Blowing it out every morning is a chore, but I love this brush. It's twice as wide as my forearm, but it dries my hair quickly with minimal frizz (that along with a small amount of product!). It is made of ceramic, so the barrel gets hot, and there are vents. You can even stick the end of your hair dryer in the barrel! It is available on Amazon or at Sally Beauty Supply. Trust me, your arm does not get tired rolling out a big brush as much as a little brush. I can't live without this brush.
