Every so often I hear people talk about Shade clothing as a great place to buy basics, but I've never bought anything there myself. I tend to shy away from online only stores, since I don't at least have a baseline for the sizing and quality, but Shade offers free shipping and returns, so I really don't have much to lose.
I've spent a little time browsing the website, and I'm not blown away by the cuteness, but I have put one thing into my cart, because heaven knows I need another striped shirt in my life.
They're having a winter sale right now, but January is the time of year when I tend to stop buying winter clothes. I do, however, think this is the sort of sweater I could wear all winter long.
Rumor has it that their leggings are good and supportive, so I'm throwing those in my cart, and I'll report back. Tell me, have you ordered from Shade? Would you order again?

I ordered from Shade this summer, on a whim when I saw their advertisement on the Crazy8 website (online shopping, much?).
I have mixed opinions. Some of the stuff, like my stripped shirt, I love. It is easy to wear and has worn well. Some of the stuff was really weirdly sized and not flattering (summer dress). From what I read, Shade started out as a Mormon clothing store, so some of the stuff was a little conservative (sounds weird to say, I'm a mom of three and don't dress racy, promise!).
The return process was really simple, so I say go for it and see what you think. I would probably order from them again...but I'd stick to the basics.

Their tank tops, under the layering basics section, are a real staple for me. They fit me really well and are high quality. I think I have 5 of them. I haven't had any luck with their other clothing, however.

The stuff I've got has been really good quality, but like a previous commenter, their sizing is totally wacky. What works in one style will be too big or small in another. However I have liked the peices that did work. I've ordered a handful if times after that.
