My husband and I don't exchange personal gifts at Christmas. We help our son shop for each other on a small, he-could-conceiveably-afford-the-items-himself budget, so that he'll get into the habit of shopping for others at the holidays but other other than that and maybe stockings? Our holiday dollars are always ear-marked for other people.
