My husband had an accident recently - the kind that required a trip to the emergency room and a tetanus shot and that fancy glue doctors now use instead of stitches. Fortunately, he's fine. Our bed linens? Less fine.
Our son pulled a large picture frame off the wall over our bed and it landed on my husband's forehead. It turns out that foreheads bleed a lot. I was left with a stained pillow, duvet, fitted sheet, and mattress pad.
I had no idea what to use on the volume of blood. Out of desperation, I sprayed the stains liberally with Nature's Miracle (we're a two dog household - we are never without Nature's Miracle) and ran a normal wash cycle.
It worked perfectly. The blood is completely gone and the linens are as good as new.

Oh goodness. Glad you found a solution. I've used natures miracle in the wash with my workout clothes to get rid of the stink. It actually has laundry instructions on the bottle (the gallon jug at least).

It also works really well to get barf and the accompanying barf smell out of a carseat. I won't elaborate on how I came to know this . . .

This is REALLY GOOD to know. As a 2-cat household I too am never without Nature's Miracle :)

I we keep a bottle in the car for road-trip vomit. It's the ONLY thing that gets the smell out of car seat straps!
