A little bit ago, I feel in love with a pair of shoes on ShopRuche but was crazy bummed to find they only had one pair left and of course they weren't my size. I decided to take a chance and do a Google search on the name listed for the shoes on the off chance I could find them available somewhere else, like eBay or something. I really loved those shoes.
(please excuse the insane amount of dog hair in that pic, my dog blows her coat like mad, furminator or no)
And wouldn't you know it, not only did I find the shoes, but I found them cheaper and in several different colors on Amazon.com*. I am so glad I decided to just see if I could find them anywhere else because these shoes are so cute and comfortable and I love them even more on my feet than I did in the picture online. Plus I paid LESS, which always makes me happy.
Do you search the name of an out-of-stock item on the web to see if it might be available elsewhere? Do you check the name, even if the item is in stock to see if you can find it cheaper?

LOVE THESE!!! So great. Bringing them to NOLA, yes?

I think I've done this in the past, but it's not something I remember to do every time. I tend to realize something is expensive (shoes) and then just hang my head in despair that I'll never be able to afford them. I'll try to file this tip away in the "to be used" part of my brain!

I found some cute "fashion" cowboy boots at a little boutique but was NOT about to pay $75 for boots that 1) weren't leather and 2) I would only wear once in a blue moon. Googled them and found them for $25 on Ebay!!!

Always, always, always search the name and search for coupons.
