Yes, I can hear you all thinking "Beth went to Target and found yet another t-shirt that she feels compelled to tell us about, as if she hasn't already told us about ten different Target t-shirts and doesn't she know that nobody needs that many Target t-shirts." I see your point, I really do, and had in fact vowed to take a Target t-shirt hiatus. But, then, this happened:
This is the Merona Womens Gathered Neck Top in "Ruby Hill," and it is the end-all be-all of $10 Target t-shirts. This is the shirt that I not only bought in five colors, but I bought two in red, two in grey, and three in black so that when one wears out I will have another to take its place. Like I said, this is the Target t-shirt to end all Target t-shirts.
It is flattering with a scoop gathered neck and slight taper, but slight enough that you can get your regular size and not find it clinging to every minor belly imperfection you may have. It is long enough for me, which will likely make it a bit too long on many of you, but for the long-torsoed among us a long-enough shirt is no small find. It is the regular t-shirt thickness you may remember from your youth before anybody ever thought a "tissue tee" would be a brilliant idea. And finally, it washes well and mine are holding up nicely.
There you go, the perfect $10 t-shirt. At least until my next trip to Target.

I love these. I already bought some this summer and bought 3 in white- it is one of the only white Tshirts that isn't transparent.
