Attention, mothers of infants and other small humans! The just-for-babies nail clippers you have are (probably) not cutting it. (Har.) Here's what you need:
This is a pair of fine-tip cuticle scissors, and they get the job done quickly and easily and with no casualties. My mom says this is what the pediatric nurses use on their patients, so you might say they're Expert Approved. And for what it's worth, they're also Me Approved. Three-plus years, two kids, no blood, no tears, no sweat.
Pictured above is a set from Body Toolz ($11.35) because I wanted you to see what they looked like out of the packaging (note that the tip is super-fine and slightly curved up at the end; that's where the magic happens), but this one, from trusted everything-nail supplier Sally Hansen, is on sale for $2.59 on Amazon right now. At that price, what are you waiting for?

This is perfect timing, as I have been putting off trimming Elise's nails for days now to avoid the conflict of the whole situation!

Yes! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS. I have always cut both boys' nails with these scissors, and I know my mom friends think I am a danger-loving lunatic, but they are SO EASY and quick and I have never once nipped either one of my crazed sons' fingers in the process. YES.
