You guys, I'm not a huge sewer but inspiration does hit from time to time. I've only ever purchased my sewing supplies from a fabric store so I didn't realize there was another world out there. A world of brighter colours and funkier prints. A world where bias tape doesn't have to be boring.
I poked around merrigoround & me's Etsy shop and loved what I found. Polka dots! Gingham! Stripes! Oh my. I am definitely stocking up for my next (yet to be determined) project.

Did you know you can make your own, too? Dana from Dana Made It has some great tutorials on making bias tape. It's something that takes a little time but is very easy!

Thank you for your kind words! Sometimes it's the littlest things that inspire us and I'm so honoured that my bias tape could actually be a source. And yes, it's very easy to make. I love the Dana Made It tutorial. She has some great photos and detailed instructions and loads of useful information. Thanks again!
