I'm already giddy thinking about October, and not only because it might stop being hot for a few minutes. No, come October I get three straight months of holiday decor. I also get three straight months of baking festive treats in the name of holiday spirit, but that's another subject entirely.
The one home decor position that my husband and I share is that new holiday decor items are never frivolous. So, with that in mind, I'm hoping to add to our collection this year.
I love these mercury glass pumpkins from Pottery Barn. Costco had a similar set IN AUGUST, for about $10 each, but I'm sure they're gone now, since it's September and they've moved on to Christmas decorations. (Too soon Costco, even for me.)
I haven't given up on my yarn wrapped wreath love of 2011. I could easily swap out the flowers that live on my wreath for fun fall colors. Or you could order this Autumn Meadow Wreath, found on Etsy, of course.
I love these Trick or Treat blocks. Somebody teach me how to make my own, please?
