If you're well-versed in Style Lush or Food Lush you know without a shadow of a doubt that we LOVE us some Trader Joe's around here! I don't do my main grocery shopping at Trader Joe's (I'm a Costco kind of girl ... we eat a lot and entertain a lot and go through a lot of diapers at my house), but I do visit once a twice a month to pick up a few of our favorite specialty items.
Not once have I ever bought a cleaning product or bath product there, though. It seems like whenever I run out of something and don't want to hump it to Target or Costco with the kids I just grab something at the grocery store closest to my house (at a huge mark-up, might I add. Dang city living!). Not to mention when I'm at TJ's, I want to spend every blessed dime of my money on chocolate and fancy cheese.
Anyway, my daughter's preschool had a "Holiday Bazaar" before the winter holiday break where the parents all donated an item worth $5-10 and the kids got to go and "shop" and choose an item for each parent. It was actually a really cool idea! The teachers then helped the children wrap their gifts in handpainted paper. You bet your boots that those presents were our favorite ones on Christmas morning! So special! My husband received a yellow vegetable brush. I will probably never be able to throw that thing out for the rest of our lives! I received a bottle of body wash, this Tea Tree Tingle stuff:
All together now: AWWWW!
The problem? When I first tried it I was NOT a fan. This stuff really does make your skin tingle! And the smell was definitely not in my usual "vanilla" or "jasmine" family of choices. It was wintertime and the last thing I wanted during a hot shower was a refreshing rush of tea tree and mint! I wanted my deep moisture stuff and I wanted to take a quick nap under the hot water while my children were occupied elsewhere by my husband.
The Tea Tree Tingle Body Wash bottle sat in the shower untouched until a few weeks ago when I ran out of body wash and had no other choice (well I guess I could have used my husband's stuff but I wasn't THAT desperate). I'd just come in from a long run in the heat and was a sweaty, exhausted mess. And you know what? I suddenly LOVED that body wash! It is the perfect thing to use after a hard workout! I really feel clean and refreshed and like the sweat and funk is gone when I use this stuff. The refreshing tingle is cooling and just what the doctor ordered. The bottle has gone a long way too! I've been using it for weeks with no end in sight.
Don't have a Trader Joe's? You can get it on Amazon!

I really, really like their facial moisturizer. It's light, not smelly and has SPF 15. And it's like $4 or something, and lasts several months. My husband loves all the Tea Tree Tingle stuff but I can't get behind feeling cold in the shower.

I love that stuff! I, too, got it in the winter and it was just not right. On a super hot day a few weeks ago I decided to try it again, and now I love it! The shampoo is great too.

It's amazing to go to see this site and reading the views of all friends about this piece of writing, while I am also eager of getting experience.
