Yes, I know it's August but truth be told there are years where I would have already had my decorations up inside my house by now. This is not one of those years, but that doesn't mean I can't get out there and scope the early Halloween displays to see what I might want. You really have to be quick at some of the discount retailers (places like: Home Goods, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, etc) because they may only get a limited quantity of something and once it's gone, it's gone.
I went to Home Goods first, because Katie (former Style Lush writer) took me to one in her home town when I went to visit her a while back and I've made it a tradition to start there first in her honor. I found the most delightfully creepy statue to bring home.
Isn't it AWESOME? I totally love it and it fits right in with the aesthetic, in my home, at Halloween. I'm not sure how I will set things up this year, but here is a look at last year, the year before, and the year before that.
Do you decorate inside or outside only (or at all) for Halloween?

I need you to go shopping for me, and decorate my home! I love it, love it, love it. This is my first year really decorating, so I am starting light. Wish me luck!
