Ed Sheeran's sound is similar to a peppier Damien Rice or a broodier Dan Mangan with glimpses of Jason Mraz. His debut album, +, has that singer-songwriter vibe with acoustic guitars and raspy sung witty lyrics. He veers off course, though, with a few R&B-inspired tracks to keep things fresh and interesting.
My favourite tracks are "Wake Me Up," "Sunburn," and what may be the saddest song I've ever heard, "Small Bump."
