The comments on my dress post last week confirmed my original plan to go with green accessories with my dress. I immediately fell in love with the Tessellate necklace in green from J. Crew.
Unfortunately, it's a bit beyond my budget. There are some pretty convincing knock offs on Ebay for a fraction of the price, but I'm not sure how I feel about that practice yet. I should probably get over that, since many of my Target finds are simply copies of other pricier brands.
For earrings I really want the Kendra Scott Elle in green. I bought them in white a few months back and I love them and wear them all the time.
I think I would get a lot of wear from the green throughout the fall and winter, but ultimately decided to add these to my birthday list.
Ultimately, I decided on this vintage necklace from Ebay.
For $10, the price was definitely right. I'm a bit nervous about the quality since it's listed as "vintage" and "as-is," but it has already shipped, so if I hate it, I can certainly find a replacement - or lobby for an early birthday present - before the party.
