Favorite Show: Doc McStuffins

My almost three-year old is absolutely OBSESSED with the Doc McStuffins cartoon on Disney Jr, to the point that we have an episode on the iPhone that we pull out when we're reaching the 'toddler meltdown' point of any public outing, and it buys us an extra twenty minutes to make our escape in peace, even though she's seen that episode several times already.

(For those of you that don't live with a Disney obsessed toddler, Doc McStuffins revolves around a 'doctor' who fixes broken toys. It's less cringe inducing than most of the shows out there geared towards kids, so it doesn't bother me that she likes it so much...)

Anyway, with her birthday approaching, we've been on a search for Doc McStuffins related toys, but apparently, we're not the only fans of the show, because we can't seem to find most of them, anywhere.

So far, we've been able to find the Time For Your Check Up Doll, which my mother-in-law is planning to give her:

But what I really want to find is this stuffed dragon, creatively named Stuffy, because it's her favorite character on the show, and she giggles at EVERYTHING he says and does, and, well, I am powerless against the charm of a toddler giggle. Unfortunately, it seems to be one of those high demand toys, because I can't find it in stock, anywhere.

So, to summarize: One,Doc McStuffins is a really good show for the toddler set. And two, if you happen to hear about a crazy woman in Atlanta, wandering from toy store to toy store, muttering about blue dragons, you'll have heard about it here, first.

We found a small "clinic" set with Stuffy included. It also came with Doc, Lamby, and Chilly, plus the talking clinic table and Doc's bag and tools. Elizabeth is a fan.

My 3 year old is also obsessed but I am SO much happier with her liking a little girl who wants to be a doctor than those irritating Disney princesses who also consume our life!

I had no idea they had Doc McStuffins merch - fun for Christmas!!
