Editor's note: We have a treat today! Katie, Food Lush writer, is sharing her thoughts on an adorable hat for those who don't look their best in fedoras that are all the rage these days!

Can you wear a straw fedora? I bet you can. I bet you look awesome in a fedora. Jennie looks terrific in a fedora. They are all the rage!
Which is a shame, because I look RIDICULOUS in a straw fedora. I'm not sure quite what it is, whether it's the scale, or the angle at which it perches on my head, but it just looks ALL WRONG.
So if you are like me, and simply cannot pull off a fedora, allow me to share this alternative: the straw cloche.

I like this hat so much that I asked Jennie if I could do a guest post on Style Lush just to mention it. Because I cannot be the only one for whom these fedoras just aren't working.
I purchased this hat at Target for $12. Even better, it is now on sale for $10. It calls itself "straw" but is actually made of some flexible straw-resembling substance, which is I suppose less authentic, but has the added bonus of making the hat flexible and crushable (better for packing!)
If you, like me, are fedora-challenged, I highly suggest checking it out.

Thanks, Katie! (Also, thanks for guest posting AND complimenting me all at once. You can visit over here anytime!)

You are NOT the only one who cannot rock a fedora. They look silly on me, as do the rolled brim straw cowboy hats that are such a thing here on the west coast. I've had good luck with cloches and with the wide brimmed sun hats as well. Thanks for helping all of us hat-challenged individuals!

Cute! I have a gray wool cloche that I wear in the winter, so I'm pretty sure I need this one for the summer.

Sadly, I can't wear hats ever because my hair is too short and I end up looking like a boy. However! YOU look smashing in that hat.
