I have a bad habit. I need something specific, and I mean to go shopping for it, but then I run out of time and there I am in Target so I end up buying the closest approximation of the specific thing I need that Target has and hating it a week later, because it isn't what I really wanted. Which I did again last week, but this time it worked out for me.
See, I needed a pair of brown flats. I like to wear flats, because I think it makes my t-shirt and jeans or t-shirt and capris wardrobe look a little more intentional. And I have black flats and gray flats and silver flats and gold flats but really needed brown. And there I was in Target, and they had no acceptable brown flats. But I was desperate and I bought these:
But in the beige, not in the pink. Which BTW, dear Target, if you want people to shill your products you need to make it easier to hork (and properley credit, naturally) your images. Anyway, those are the Women's Merona Medina Suede Loafer, except you need them in "taupe"! not "blush"! And I think I love them. I love them especially with denim capris. They are comfy, they look nice, they have a hint of preppy about them, which I enjoy, if we are being honest, and the price is right. Check them out the next time you are there, I think you will like them.
