Paint Chip Art

It's everywhere. You've seen it, right? People hoarding paint chips and using them for all sorts of things, place cards,gift tags, baby mobiles, framing them, whatever, they are an official thing. At first I was a bit turned off by these projects, I know the paint chips are free but taking that many? Now that I've seen this, well, looks like I'm in need of a few. I'm making this one, and right away. So pretty! I love the angle, you can tell what they are but it doesn't look like a collage of post-it's like so many do.

What do you think of this paint chip craze, have you made anything?

Thanks for blogging about my project! What I also like about this one is it only takes 5-10 strips of paint chips which aren't that many if you have to take them from the hardware store. Personally I have such a huge stash of them from home decoration projects that I just used those, but for anyone starting from scratch this project uses a really minimal number of the strips to maximum effect! (At least I think it does...) Thanks again for posting it!
