This post begins as most sentences I speak begin: "So, I saw this thing on Pinterest..." This specific time, the pin in question are these (adorable!) personalized-lined envelopes.
After my son's recent third birthday party, I wanted to personalize the thank-you notes (especially since I lost track of time and had to send en evite out for the party itself). These seemed easy but fun, which are two of my favorite words.
Steps!
- I bought these envelopes in "paper bag."
- I printed out a picture of the balloon room from the party, just on our regular old printer.
- I traced the general shape of the envelope and cut it out, fixing the size as needed.
- I stuck the paper into the envelope and used double-sided tape for just the top half of the envelope, or the triangle section. (Trust me, you don't want the tape to get stuck before it's in place.)
The final result:
I used flat yellow cards for the note itself and just stamped a thank you on them.
Easy and fun, right? Use any photo for the liner and color combination for your cards/envelopes, and you have your own, personalized thank you notes!

And I can personally attest that they turned out awesome! I recognized the balloons immediately.
However, you clearly have infinitely more patience than I do. I would curse and curse and curse at trying to get that sized just right.
