A couple of months ago, I wrote a post asking all of you lovely people if anyone had ever used the John Frieda Luminous Color Glaze, but nobody had. Or, at the very least, nobody wanted to tell me they had, so I was forced (forced, I tell you!) to go out and buy a bottle for myself, just to give it a try.
Unfortunately, the product didn't live up to my expectations. Granted, the extent of my expectations was a hope that the glaze would do something to hide the stray gray hairs that have been accumulating around my temples recently, as several of the online reviews I'd read said it would, but that didn't happen. In fact, I really didn't notice any change, at all, unless you count the brown staining on my hands that needed to be scrubbed off after each use.
And I definitely don't. At least I don't feel forced to pick up a second bottle anytime soon...

Thanks for the follow up post. Dyed hands without the benefit of gray coverage is totally not worth it. I'm going to grow my hair out and see how long I can stand the gray. I read an article in the New York Times this morning about women going gray and how it can potentially affect your career. We'll see how long it takes for me to reach for the hair dye. I'm only 30 after all.
