I don't take my rings off very often, but now that I'm the owner of a brand new fancy bread machine (hooray, technology! you make me a better domestician), I need somewhere to put my jewelry that's safe and routine (so I don't forget where I put stuff) and also cuter than an upcycled lid from a old pickle jar.
I bought myself this little sweetie from Bed, Bath and Beyond (they had a display of about ten different animals at the cash registers) and I love how it looks perched behind the kitchen sink:
Here are some other pretty options:
Lotus bowl from dgordon on Etsy
Skultuna brass for only $122 (OMG, NO, but it is beautiful)
Handcarved oak cat from Boxnmor on Etsy
Vintage-looking circus-style animals from Luggage and Leather (I can't pick a favorite)

I hardly ever take my ring off when in the kitchen, but I think I need to own the peacock from Luggage and Leather!

I always take my rings off when I'm working in water (washing kids, clothes, dishes), so I have a number of little bowls and ring holders throughout the hosue. It doesn't mean that I always remember which dish I put them in though!!
My latest little bowl was an Ikat number from Anthro for all of $1.92!!

I was just thinking last night that I need a ring holder in the kitchen, because the only time I take my ring off is when I do the dishes. Thanks for sharing!
