You guys, I did something crafty! And it looked so awesome! And I was convinced that I was going to come here and give you the best fall decorating idea ever to occur to anyone in the history of time! And it was actually all thought up by my three-year-old!
And then I took a small break from my dreams of becoming the next Martha Stewart and googled this amazing idea to make sure nobody else had beaten me to it, and woe. Everyone has beaten me to it. Everyone and their brother. And their brother's three year old.
But still, I love this, so even if it is old news and trite and overdone, I am going share it with you. All you need is a mini pumpkin, and sharp knife, a spoon and a tea light. Cut the top of the mini pumpkin, scoop out the cute little lumb of seeds and pumpkin guts (far more pleasant a task with a mini pumpkin than a regulation jack-o-lantern size) pop in the tea light, and ta-da!
Tell me how awesome these would be at a fall dinner party. No really, tell me, I want to relive that tiny little Martha Stewart moment.

Soooo I am actually having a fall dinner party in a few weeks and though I've heard about this before (and I think I even did it once, but I'm not sure), I'd totally forgotten about it! Thank you for the reminder! Because these will be TOTALLY cute at a fall dinner party! You're so right!
I plan on interspersing them with my usual votives-in-mason-jars all over the deck and patio (we'll be bundling up and eating outside) (Or sweating and eating out side. Ahem, VIRGINIA). Ooooh...TWINKLY! FESTIVE!
Thanks for the reminder.

If you sprinkle a little cinnamon and nutmeg inside it will smell really, really good.
