I've been wearing Tender Heart by Clinique since high school. That was a "few" years ago. It's still the right color for my complexion and after running out of it a while ago, I didn't replace it right away because I had it in gloss, too. Well, the gloss finally ran out so I went and got another stick. I still love the color but something about it was just off. It was too heavy, too ... old? Maybe. It got me to wondering so I grabbed a few other colors at the drug store to see if maybe it was just the formula that had it feeling odd. It wasn't. It's problem seemed to be that it was just lipstick. I've been wearing gloss for who knows how long, really.
Am I just out of practice with the stick or is it just sort of past its time? It seems I've come to prefer wearing a sheer color with sheen over anything matte. I really felt like I was on my way to bridge club, which, hello, I am not. I ended up loving this cranberry color by Maybelline. Great color, soft light red, not heavy and cake-like.
What do you think? Is it over, do you wear stick anymore or are you an all gloss all the time girl? If you DO wear stick, I'd love to know what you're wearing!

I hate lipstick. It always has a taste to me, no matter what the advertisement says. I'm a gloss girl. Avon, Chocolate Fling.

My lips are too big for gloss; I end up looking strange. I like stain or matte lipstick. Smash box I love but I am always looking for new stuff!

Apparently I am in denial about the fact that I'm turning 29 in a week, because pretty much all I wear is chapstick. I used to think I'd wear lipstick when I was a "grown up" but here I am and chapstick is still it.

I wear lipstick, but I always put chapstick on first so it ends up being applied thinner and less "lipsticky". I also have been wearing Tender Heart since high school (although not exclusively). I'm also a huge fan of Clinique's Black Honey lipgloss. It's really not as dark as it looks like it's going to be.

I love lipstick, chapstick, gloss, stains, you name it. I really like Clinique's Butter Shine lipsticks. They aren't as... lipsticky? My favorite color at the moment is Pink Toffee. I used to love Tender Heart but when I tried it again recently, it just wasn't right on me anymore. I also recently tried Clinique's Chubby Sticks and like them.
