I, like so many others, have become a full on Pinterest addict. Truly, it makes me late for pre-school drop off, getting dinner made, going to bed and once, boot camp. It's a problem, one that I cannot quit anytime I want. Because I do not want. So whatever. I've seen a few amazing plate walls recently and wondered how in the heck do they do it. How does one hang a plate? Is there some sort of drill bit or magical plate hanging something-or-other that I don't know about? Because looking at these gorgeous images has really got me wondering how can I do this at MY house.

I needed to know. One smart google search (how to hang a plate) unearthed these magical plate hanging something-or-others.
They're brilliant, it's a sticker with a hook! What could be easier than that? They make so much sense! They come in many different sizes so you get the best hold and protection for your plate collection and they are inexpensive. I guess it's time for me to start collecting some plates.

I love the plate decor, too. The sticker would worry me, though. I have a Christmas decoration, a record with a picture painted on it (don't ask. a gift from my Dad). It hangs with a four prong system that goes around the plate. Sort of like a ring setting (?) with the prongs. You hang the little contraption from a nail in the wall. I'd probably use something like that for heavier plates or larger platters.
Here's a link to some I found, although I have never used them, so I cannot attest to their reliability. http://www.hooksandhangers.com/plate_hangers1.htm
