Bikini waxing - and, more specifically the Brazilian wax - is a strangely popular topic of discussion when a bunch of women get together with a bottle of wine or two. There are the people who can't imagine why anyone would do that, the people who are tempted but scared, the people who are trying to figure out the mechanics of the whole thing, and the people who have taken the plunge and spend most of the discussion answering very specific questions about their waxing experiences.
We've tackled this topic a couple of times before on Style Lush, thanks to some generous writers who recounted their experiences in the waxing chair. But I recently read a post written from a completely different (ahem) angle, and I had to share it with all of you.
Over at Mandajuice, Amanda shares her wisdom as a professional bikini waxer. Not only does she describe the entire process in detail (don't click over if you don't want to read about the anatomical details of ladyparts) but she assures her readers that as long as they make an effort to be clean and pleasant, there is no reason to feel embarrassment about any part of the process. That goes for people with bodies of every shape and size, and follicles of every color and density.
