I recently bought my first pair of wedges. And my second pair of wedges. Hey, they were buy one, get one half off and were both on the clearance rack, so I decided to go for it. Aside from the fact that I have barely worn heels since I quit my office job six years ago and therefore do not remember how to walk in them, and also have never before in my life sported a four-inch heel, I sort of love them.
I can't find a picture of either pair I bought online, but the more casual pair are similar to these, but in black.
So far, I've worn them out with the girls and for date night with my husband, with capris. But I keep seeing them worn with shorts, just out and about, heading to the grocery store. And while I think I am unlikely to try that myself, since this is a new style for me, I figured I should check on whether or not that is actually a good choice, just in case the urge should ever strike.
So tell me - wedges with shorts, yes or no? (Also, does that answer change for a 36-year-old mother of two?)
