No doubt, a stylish girl should have stylish hair. I am usually one of the worst offenders in this department -- most days I do a quick blow dry in the morning and that's it. But lately I've been inspired by some easy web tutorials that make pretty hair seem so simple.
The lovely and amazing Joanna has put together a couple of tutorials for pretty hair, one for a gorgeous set of three twisted buns and another for a fabulous messy side ponytail.
For fancier affairs, I'm loving this beautiful romantic look from Martha Stewart Weddings, instructions here, as well as a lovely side chignon.
Simply stunning.
In my effort to have more stylish hair, I picked up a set of Goody Spin Pins from Target last week. The $6 price tag seemed a tad steep for two pieces of plastic, but they have been completely worth the price.
I can throw my hair into a perfect ballerina bun in two seconds flat and, if I curl my hair, I can create a messy side bun without having to use dozens of bobby pins. I think I'll pick up a second pack of the Spin Pins, too, because I think they would make the three twisted buns a cinch to create.
Now, if I could just master the braid I'd be set.

I bought the Spin Pins because of another post here on Style Lush. Awesome investment - they rock. I'm not sure how they work, I like to think they're magic.

I love spin pins - they're in my "can't be without them" accessories. I found mini spin pins today at Target too! I think I'm in love ...

I'd forgotten all about these and cool they are! (Bought some years ago.) I'll have to go dig them up...

Oh, my. I saw these spinny things at Target and all I could think of was how tangled up my hair might get, and then I'd have to cut it off, it would be so tangly! I'm completely hopeless and helpless when it comes to styling hair. Why, oh why, am I growing my hair out? If I had read this before I saw you this weekend, Ms. SO PINK, I would have had you demonstrate it for me! Darn!
