If you've never taken part in Black Friday, try it just once.
I promise, you'll experience shopping like never before. You might be converted to a BFSF {Black Friday Shopper Forever!} or maybe you'll just have stories to tell about "that one time" you decided to venture to the stores to see about all the fuss. Either way, it is something to be witnessed for yourself, trust me there are reasons that the news crews are there filming. On one of his first BF shopping trips, my husband witnessed actual fighting over $3 pajama pants AND a mowhawk all in the same morning.
The craziness though, is matched only by the pure exhilaration of it all. We wake up just a few hours after going to bed, still bleary-eyed and full from Thanksgiving dinner. Sneakers and comfortable clothes are a must for me, but you will see everything from someone dressed to the nines in pearls, to someone wearing their pajamas. The ads we poured over yesterday while the turkey was roasting in the oven are tucked in my bag, marked with circled deals. My Christmas shopping list is in my hands anxiously awaiting check marks.
From the cart crashers to the woman who smiles brightly and whispers to you where you might find the very last set of Legos, you will experience the thrill of sleep deprived shopping that will not be matched by any other holiday sale. The anxiety of BF newbies, mothers sprinting through toy stores, men with electronics in their hands and glazed looks in their eyes, and deals galore are all sprinkled with a little holiday spirit.
So tell me, are you a Black Friday shopper? Do you have a tip to share with the BF newbies? Are you as excited for this year as I am?

oh boy, I can't even wait. I don't think I need to buy anything, but I'm going to go out anyway! So glad I'm off work that day!

Oh HELL NAH. I used to work retail! That is all I needed to never, EVER be a BF shopper. The hubs was one year and he has never done it again.

Jonathan and I LOVE Black Friday. We take off of work that day just so that we can go out! He's crazier than me though...he maps everything out and figures out the best and quickest way to get everything he wants.

I am a BFSF! Its tradition, my mom and her sisters go and most of the daughters. We even moved Thanksgiving plans this year with my husband's family just so I could be sure to go.
I'm really hoping that the BF sales some stores are running now before hand don't affect how great the sales are that day.

I'm not really a black Friday shopper but I might be this year to catch some deals. My cousin will be in town (normally it's just me, the man and the girl, and they don't do black Friday like my family does) so I might go out with her. I need deals! Christmas is pricey :)
