Call me crazy, but I'm hosting Thanksgiving at my house this year. You know, about a month and a half after I give birth and in the house in which we're still completing renovations. What can I say? I like a challenge! Since I will have so much going on, I've been trying to do some early planning so things won't be quite so overwhelming come November.
In a price-tag free world, I would love to serve appetizers or dessert on the gorgeous Plaid Plate from Crate and Barrel. It looks great with their green Finley dinnerware, but I also think it would just as beautiful with a simple white dinnerware set that you can pick up on the cheap at Target or Wal-Mart. At $8.95 each, they're not going to break the bank but the cost can add up if you're hosting a large party. Still, I just love them!
