Remember when I discovered that I didn't own a mop, and asked for your advice about what to buy? All of your super helpful comments pretty much brought me around the to the Church of the Steam Mop, and when I checked out my options on Amazon I found a VERY thorough review listing the pros and cons of the 5 most popular contenders available right now. (It's the first review listed on the Shark Steam Mop, here.) I went with the reviewers' well researched opinion and bought the Envirosteamer by Eureka.
Long story short - I love it. It's a tad heavy and I have to get used to using a mop with a cord - but good golly - that kitchen floor is CLEAN. I mean, so so so so so clean. The mop uses nothing but water, so there are no chemicals involved which saves money and peace of mind, and it uses so little water that the floor was drying behind me as I mopped. I can cover two rooms before I have to refill the water reservoir, and unlike a traditional sponge mop, there's no scrubbing necessary. For any really dirty or tough spots I just left the mop on a bit longer and they lifted right up. It comes with an extra washable pad and it was only $56 dollars, which I think is a totally decent price considering the cost of a new roller mop. Also great - the retractable handle and the small footprint means it's easy to stash in its new home next to the washer.
And most importantly, again - my kitchen floor SO DARN CLEAN!

Did you get yours any faster than the 1-3 months it says it typically takes to ship? I wanted this one too (I clean houses for a living), but couldn't hold off on the three month shipping time frame.
