I'm not really a lipstick person. I have about eleventy thousand glosses (probably just a few variations on the same basic pinkish-nude but I SWEAR there are subtle differences) but don't often venture into lipstick territory. However, I was talked in to the following lipstick recently and I love it so much I have to share it with you all. I present: Nars Sheer Lipstick in Dolce Vita.
(I confess that this photo looks WAY lighter than the actual lipstick does, just FYI.)
It's a sheer but pigmented beige-ish pink with a glossy finish and it's so, so flattering.
Friends, you will look great in this color. It seriously looks good on everyone I know. And apparently everyone else out there knew this already and it's a totally forgone conclusion that all of you have a tube or three of this around your house/in your purse/in your car, but I'm just now in the know.
Are there any other items I should know about that are must-have's for you? Don't hold back!

I'm loving the Nars gloss Risky Business, and I feel like it would look great with most every complexion.
