A couple years ago, I popped into my local M.A.C. store to pick up the essentials. While at the counter, the sales gal asked me the myriad pre-checkout questions they always ask:
M.A.C. Sales Gal: "Do you need any brushes?"
Me: "No."
MSG: "How about eye makeup remover?"
Me: "I'm good."
MSG: "What about eye cream?"
Me: "I don't use the stuff."
MSG: "What?! You don't use eye cream?! You're never too young for eye cream!"
Me: "Umm, okay."
And so began my obsession with M.A.C.'s Fast Response Eye Cream. It's silky-smooth, not at all greasy and one tube lasts me at least six months. I dab a bit under my eyes a few minutes before applying concealer and it instantly makes me feel more awake and refreshed. Who knows if that's the $30 price tag talking or what, but it doesn't matter. I am now an eye cream convert. And my response when I find out someone doesn't use eye cream? Well, you can imagine.
What about you, dear readers? Do you use eye cream? (You should!) Or, are you as equally-obsessed with another beauty product? Share it with us in the comments!

I *just* (uh, last month) started using eye cream. I use La Prairie's Cellular Radiance one. So far, so good! My eyes definitely look better and leas sleepy. The price is prohibitive, though, so I'm thrilled to hear that MAC has a cheap(er) one that works well.

Er, LESS sleepy, not "leas." ;)

Sometimes I do . . . sometimes not. I'm fickle with my skincare products! I use a good moisturizer though . . . so I'm not convinced a separate eye cream is 100% necessary.

I use it and have for about 5 years or so, when I hit 25. I love it and it's not a brand specific thing either. My two current faves are Origins GinZing and Benefit eyecon. I think it just feels like something I'm doing that's good for me, like talking a vitamin or something.

I'm on-and-off with the eye cream, although I recently let a salesperson talk my into a jar of Origins Ginzing and I've been really happy with it. I think it might actually be making a difference in my under-eye circles! I've previously tried Philosophy's Hope in a Tube and not been nearly as happy with it.

I've occasionally used one in past, but as a general rule I'm pretty lazy about skincare. Always have been. As a sign of age or maturity or something though, I've started using an anti-aging night moisturizer for my face that is triple the price of the old one I used to use, now that I've turned 30. And I am starting to get tiny wrinkles around my eyes so I'm sure eye cream is next.
