Reader A'Dell wrote in asking for some Style Lush assistance in outfitting her many guest bathrooms. Since I recently moved into a new home with over twice as many bathrooms as I'd had before, I fancy myself somewhat of a bathroom expert. Yes, I realize this is sort of sad, but I guess there could be worse things ... right?
When searching for the bathroom essentials, I decided for the sake of convenience to focus solely on one store. Over the years, I've found Target has really upped their game when it comes to quality bathroom products, and since I'm willing to bet everyone has a Target nearby, Target it is!
Below are three different color schemes that work well for any bathroom, but basically anything pastel-colored looks great.
From left to right: Thomas O'Brien 3-Piece Towel Set in Soft Sage {$24.99}, Shadow Leaves Shower Curtain {$34.99}, Fieldcrest Luxury Bath Rugs in Victorian Sage {$13.99 to $25.99}
From left to right: Contemporary Home 6-Piece Towel Set in Brown Linen {$29.99}, Fieldcrest Luxury Classic Hotel Shower Curtain {$34.99}, Home Organic Bath Rugs in Linen {$9.99 to $17.99}
From left to right: Under the Canopy Organic Cotton Towels in Fog {$19.99 to $29.99}, Fieldcrest Luxury Stripe Shower Curtain {$39.99}, Waverly Home Bath Rug Collection in Basin Blue {$14.99 to $29.99}
When it comes to bathroom coordinates, as I learned they are called, I love the look of stainless steel. I do not, however, love spending $60 on a trashcan. Luckily, I found this set, which has a classic look, is ceramic and has a much friendlier price-tag:
Cero Spa Bath Coordinates {$9.99 to $24.99}
A few things to note about the pricier items, such as bathmats and the bath coordinates: You do not need one of everything. I personally believe that toilet-seat covers are outdated; a mat in front of each sink, as well as a bathmat is all you need. As for the coordinates, I think any bathroom is fine with just a trashcan, a tissue-box cover and a soap dish. If you can splurge on all the other items, that's great, but they're definitely not necessary.
A'Dell, I hope I've helped you in your quest to get your bathrooms guest-ready by the summer!
