The other day some friends of ours came to visit and I could not get over how adorable their daughters Skip Hop Backpack was - she has the puppy one, and it's too cute for words.
And then my son turned three and one of his presents from his Granny was a Skip Hop Backpack! We have the penguin, and it's also pretty adorable. I mean, people, I know NOTHING about little kids backpacks, but please - these have EARS. SO CUTE!
Although, fair warning. If you are the type who gets a tidge emotional over seeing your "tiny baby" in a pair of "big boy" underpants (and I totally am), words cannot prepare you for how you going to feel seeing your three year old walk down the street wearing a backpack like a real (giant) person, OMG.

On Monday, I was AMAZED at the number of tiny children with their own rolling luggage at the airport, squeeing, but amazed. I think I am going to have to get the penguin for our future grandchild as my husband LOVES penguins and maybe the monkey for my friend who is about to have a baby and is doing a monkey theme.
