My birthday is tomorrow and as usual, I haven't a thing to wear. Well, that's not entirely true; I do have a little black dress to wear. Although I love my LBD, I think I should add a few fun accessories to really punch it up. It is my birthday, after all; I don't want to celebrate surviving another year by blending in, now do I? To that end, here are a few items I've found that I think could add a little something extra to the LBD:
From top to bottom, left to right:
Silver Rope Knotted Headband {$28}
This rope headband is an edgy twist on some of the more frilly headbands.
Faux-Leather Moto Jacket {$39.99}
I love a short-cropped leather jacket over a dress; this one is both animal and budget friendly!
Orange Calcite Wire Wrapped Cocktail Ring {$30}
I'm a sucker for big rings and would wear one on each finger if it were socially acceptable. (Please tell me it's socially acceptable. Please?)
Forever Berry Opaque Tights {$7}
Nothing can punch up an LBD like bright tights. (Also, I hope I'm not the only one who's wishing the tights trend sticks around for awhile.)
Yellow Clutch {$41}
This clutch is not only colorful, but it's bigger and more functional than some other clutches.
Cross-Weave 2 Color Scarf {$40}
If the weather doesn't warrant a jacket or heavy coat, I think this large scarf (24"x88") would make the perfect light wrap.
