Next month is one of my favorite holidays and before you start rolling your eyes and gritting your teeth, I thought this way before I had a serious boyfriend. In fact, for many, many years I didn't have a serious anything (except a serious penchant for guys who couldn't commit), but I still loved Valentine's. I don't really know why, to be honest, although I think it may have a little something to do with all the chocolate and champagne you're encouraged to enjoy. Although, I do sort of like the idea of a particular day where you make a point of telling those you care most about that you, well, care most about them.
It's also fun to decorate for Valentine's because who doesn't like a little pop of red color in their lives and homes from time to time. Here are some fun DIY ways to bring the day of love into your home.
This super cute (and super easy) Valentine garland from Oh So Crafty.
This easy-to-put-together sweetheart wreath from Paper Source.
Heart-shaped pot holders (you can make yourself!) from Martha Stewart.
Adorable heartstrings garland from Prairie Cottage Rose's Etsy shop.
Crayon hearts from Martha Stewart.
Create your own love for Valentine's. Easy as can be.

I'm absolutely going to make those crayon hearts! Love!
