Moleskines live in a sort of tongue-and-cheek infamy for most. A cornerstone at every bookstore, with wrapping that tells purchasers that it is the legendary notebook of Hemingway and other hallowed writers. I am personally a huge fan of these little notebooks, not because I record any great thoughts there, but because they fit in my purse or my pocket, and I am forever writing things down.
Another thing I am a huge fan of are day planners. I absolutely love mine, mostly because I am a wee bit neurotic about scheduling. I use an online calendar (Google Calendar) that syncs with my iPhone, but I also love having a paper planner. I've always had one problem: I am really anal retentive about wanting my planner to look good. This means that if I scribble something, use an ugly pen or goodness knows what, I have a compulsive urge to BUY A NEW PLANNER.I think I may have found the perfect solution:
Moleskine Color-A-Month planners are new this year. They come in a neat black box, with twelve Moleskine sized planners, each in a vibrant color. The number of the month is neatly stamped on the front, and each day has an entire PAGE dedicated to it, something I absolutely LOVE.
I ordered mine last week, and when they arrived, I was THRILLED. They are adorable! And I think I finally found my perfect solution to my constant need for a new planner. Every month, I get a new little book that is tiny enough to be stowed anywhere.
I think I'm in love.
