My sister is getting married in December. This is going to be the kind of wedding where every friend and relative you've ever known pitches in and lends their services. Anything we can possibly do ourselves we ARE doing ourselves, even though we are all uniformly awful at DIY projects. Anyway, I plan to mine this wedding for at least a dozen future Style Lush posts, but right now I am procrastinating on my NaNoWriMo novel and combing Etsy for stuff I know my sister won't go for, like hair ornaments. She's decided to wear my veil, the headpiece of which is a pretty big ornament in and of itself (although its biggest selling factor is FREE) but have you SEEN all these pretty jewels and flowers and ribbons on Etsy? OH SO PRETTY!
Headbands!
Can you not see Blair Waldorf totally rocking one of these at her wedding to Chuck?

I love that forget me knot headband.
Also, shockingly, I can't help but notice that no one has ever asked to borrow the TIARA I insisted at wearing at my own wedding. Humph.

I love the idea of a flower or headband as opposed to a vail. I have my eye on this one for my own wedding: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=28451695
