I made this side dish last year and it was the surprise hit of the season, winning over those who would usually cringe at "weird" veggies like cauliflower and brussels sprouts. The cream and cheese make it less than healthy, but it's memorable and worth the effort for this special occasion. PS - LOVE the blog!

Don't enter me, because I love brooches but never ever wear them. But I had to say THANK YOU for pointing out this Etsy artist: I added like ten of her things to my Christmas Wish List.

Amy

So cute! My favorite side dish is stuffing. And I know it is unpopular to say, but I like it cooked in the bird.

Julie

Adorable.

Every dish at Thanksgiving is my favorite. The turkey, the stuffing (my mom's, of course), the mashed potatoes, the sweet potatoes, the cranberry sauce, whatever actual vegetable makes its way into the carbfest - all good. But it wouldn't be over the top without the gravy. That is key.

Shelly West

my favorite has to be the sweet potato casserole. love the melted marshmallows on top. YUMMY!!

Ahmielyn

My favorite dish is my dad's potato salad. I wouldn't be actual Thanksgiving if it were missing.

TJ

My mother's broccoli casserole. I'm missing Thanksgiving for the second year in a row, and I may just have to make it myself this year.

Biddy

ooooh so cute!

ummm....

my great grandmother's dressing...that i sadly won't get this year because i won't be home for thanksgiving :-(

Elizabeth

Mashed Potatos, gravy and stuffing. YUMMMMM

Melissa

Swiss Vegetables. Mmmmmm white cheddar.

katrina

That brooch is beyond lovely!

My favorite Thanksgiving dish has to be stuffing and gravy. I could honestly care less for the turkey... It's all about the stuffing!!

Morgan

That is gorgeous!

It's so hard for me to pick one because I love a little bit of everything in each bite. But, if I had to choose I'd stay cornbread stuffing.

Natalie

I love giveaways! broccoli and cheese casserole (no onions or celery!)!

Abbie

My favorite is my grandmother's dressing....or maybe my great-aunt's hash brown casserole....or my great-grandmother's baked mashed potatoes. YUM.

And OMG I love this! I have a passion for cameos but I don't own a single one!

Lenore VanderZee

I love pumpkin ravioli with brown butter sage sauce. Since many of us in my family are vegetarians, we get creative. And we all stuff the ravioli together for family fun :)

Rebecca

Stuffing!

Bethany

This would look fantastic on my new coat! And my favorite Thanksgiving dish is stuffing, hands down.

Lauren

Ugh I like all of them! Mashed Potatoes and stuffing with gravy over both. Delicious....

aly

oooo super pretty!!

my husband's grandmother's homemade stuffing. i married him b/c he was the only family member who learned how to make it. :) i must say though, that pumpkin pie is a very close second.... and cranberry cutney (with turkey) is in third place. :)

Tara

My favorite Thanksgiving dish is called "Squad Car Squash" - a recipe from the Aunt Bea's cookbook (from the Andy Griffith Show). It's a whole bunch of vegetables, stuffing mix and sour cream mixed together. It's awesome. :)

Shin Ae

That brooch is beautiful.

My favorite Thanksgiving dish is, well, tied between two. I can't decide between the stuffing and homemade bread.

Melissa

Gorgeous brooch!

My favorite side dish is stuffing. I've been known to make just that for dinner (when I was single of course)

Jennifer Yost

whoops, I got so excited about the beautiful brooch , I forgot about my Thanksgiving side dish! I love my mom's homemade chicken and noodles. She makes it every year!

Linsley

My grandmothers chestnut stuffing! In the bird, only!

Jen

My mom makes her stuffing once a year, and it is incredible! Makes my mouth water just thinking about it!
