You're probably not going to believe this, but I am SO OLD I remember life before the internet was even INVENTED. This means that not only do I remember having to send letters instead of emailing and using a card catalog at the library, I can also remember a time when cupcake liners came only from the grocery store, and no matter how cute your cupcake creations were, you were constrained to that blue, white, pink and yellow pack of cupcake liners they sold in the baking aisle.
Thank goodness for the internet, huh? Even in the early days of things, you used to have to hunt obsessively for such rare things as BROWN cupcake liners. And now thanks to the magic of the world wide web combined with Etsy...well...the possibilities are endless. Cupcake liners even come in PLAID.
Here are some of my favorites - these are all available under the Supplies drop down on Etsy, along with half a million sugar flowers, picks and sanding sugars. No more boring cupcakes for you!
1. Neopolitan Polka Dot Cupcake Liners 2. Blue Polka Dot Cupcake Liners 3. Fall Striped Cupcake Liners 4. Pastel Tulip Cupcake Liners 5. Assorted Brown Cupcake Liners 6. Red and White Polka Dot Cupcake Liners 7. Plaid Cupcake Liners 8. Swirly Whirly Cupcake Liners

How cool! I would have never thought to look at etsy for liners. What an awesome idea~

These are really cute! But, based on my experience once you cook them in the oven they turn brown. I spent $$ on some at Cake Carousel (Richardson, TX) for a baby shower, and was sorely disappointed. You could try putting a new liner around the cupcake you cooked, but I'm not sure if that we'll work. :(

Great find! Wonder if my in-laws would think I'm weird if I put them on my Christmas list? (Yes, they still ask for a Christmas list!)
