My friend D and I went to Pier One last week to scope out their Halloween items and while I picked up a few things (Halloween themed band-aids anyone?) I saw even more things I would've liked to bring home with me.
These gorgeous bird plates for example. They come in 3 colors (yellow, green and navy) but I must admit to being partial to the yellow, it's the perfect accent color for my sage green and black kitchen and the design is too sweet for words.
They were displayed on top of a white dinner plate and black charger and honestly as soon as payday gets here; I think I have to have them.
There are also a ton of bargains throughout the store, so now would be a great time to get started on your holiday shopping.

I may have to get these since I am hosting Thanksgiving this year.

I have always loved yellow so I'm totally with you on the yellow plate. It's so cheery!
