Free resources for print and web design

To be honest, when I think about style and design, I don't think about shoes or jewelry or my house, I think about websites. NERD! There are free code snippets galore, but free pretty stuff is a harder find. I've got a few links for you, though, and the next time you're revamping your blog you might want to check these out.

FONTS
These fonts, from Dafont.com and Urban Fonts, are great for Halloween.

PATTERNS & BACKGROUNDS
Squidfingers is a great place to find background patterns.

This spiral notebook look from Barracuda Backgrounds is pretty cool.

 

I also love this winter theme from Pixel Decor.

GRAPHICS
Daily Drop Cap posts a new "illustrative initial" every day. I wish my name started with 'R' so I could find a good use for this one.
